Nimrod I have a question for you

I remember you had a pretty rough time of it with your surgery too...did you hemmorage as well? I remember you saying you were black and blue down to your sterum. How long before it dissapated? and what caused your bleeding? Are you normal now? Did something go wrong with your surgery too???

Hey there, hope you are feeling a bit less sore and brighter.  I have not been told much about my surgery, I know I had a lot of bleeding (not told why/how) but they did say there was a lot of "trauma" as there was so much to remove and they took a suspicious mole in the kneck and tissue as well.  The bruising is still there now (not as dark) the brusing on the neck -GONE the sternum and below beginning to fade.  It appears that as the swelling eases the fluid drains DOWN and it causes more bruising.  Today is 12 days post op, still bruising on chest, nil on neck, swelling around site still bad and annoying, still have some pain and difficulty driving and FLAT and TIRED/ not returning to work as yet.  Hope this helps.
