Why does my dr. want me to have an ultrasound fter getting my blood test results back on my thyroid??

Sometimes they need to see if your thyroid have nodules that can be dangerous to your health it is good just to make sure everything is fine with you.

Please post your blood test results, along with their reference ranges; apparently, there was something on the lab report that raised a red flag.  

An ultrasound will confirm whether or not you have nodules on your thyroid, which is not uncommon.
