Sensation in throat

Hi,
For 3 months now I have had a chocking blocked feeling in my throat and down my and down my trachea. My doctor has been treating me for reflux and sent me for a gastroscopy which came back clear other than a report of a small sliding herea (nothing to be concerned about they say). All is well so I go ahead with reflux treatment hoping this feeling like there is something in my throat will go away. I have recently had gastro so back to the Doctor to tell him the feeling in my throat is intensifying. There is no bulging or anything out of order to look or feel for externally and the scope was clear. Does this sound like an internally growing goiter?

The choking/blocked feeling can also be caused by anxiety, which can be present even if we don't "feel" anxious.

Have you had any thyroid related testing done, such as blood work to test thyroid function?  You should ask your doctor for Free T3, Free T4 (make sure it's FREE T3 and T4, not Total) and TSH, along with thyroid antibodies, Thyroid Peroxidase Antibodies (TPOab) and Thyroglobulin Antibodies (TgAb), plus a thyroid ultrasound to make sure nothing is pressing against your wind pipe.

Acid reflux/GERD is a very common symptom of hypothyroidism.  If you have it, that's all the more reason to get thyroid hormones tested.  Do you have any other symptoms of hypothyroidism, such as weight gain, constipation, swelling/edema, facial puffiness, fatigue, hair loss, muscle/joint aches/pains, brain fog, etc.

The chocked/blocked can be a possible symptom of acid reflux. My mother is free of severe GERD/LPR taking betaine HCL with pepsin supplements to increase stomach acid and digestive enzyme supplements to help with digestion.
