all the symptoms you describe in your first note are exactly how I felt before I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. If you are already being treated with medication after your surgery I would suggest you go back to your doctor as it sounds to me as if your levels of medication are not right.
By the way, once I was on my medication(levothyroxine) it took about a year to feel better. Although I would hesitate to say I feel as I did before I was ill, I still get tired very easily.

DUE TO THYROID. U READ ALL OF MY POSTS. LAST 9.5 MONTHS AGO I FELL A GOITER IN RIGHT LOBE AND TEST IT , IT WAS PAPILLARY CARCINOMA AND MY THIROID ANTIBODY WAS SO HIGH. AFTER FEW IT CAME LOW. AFTER SURJURY ALL OF THYROID GLAND , I KNEW THAT THERE WAS NO MATASTESIS. I TOOK RAI THERAPY. FIRST TIME I THOUGHT I GOT HIV VIRUS. BUT AFTER 15 TIMES AND 10 MONTHS TESTED THAT I AM OUT OF HIV. . AND EVERYBODY SAID THERE IS NO CONNECTION BETWEEN HIV AND THROID PAPILLARY CACINOMA AND THYROID ANTIBODY. I CANT
You don't say if you already suffer from a thyroid disease or if you are on any medication. Could you let everyone know if you are, as it would be much easier to give help. As your symptoms could be due to the thyroid.
