for adjusting the levothyroxine dosage you need to find atleast free t4 and tsh. upping simply based on tsh might lead to thyroxine overload in some which might result in increased reverse t3 and all other complications.

Please post your T4 and T3 test results from April, along with reference ranges shown on the lab report.  Also, when did you start on the thyroid med, and what dosage?

Thank You they did the T4 and T3 in April.. I have hashimoto disease and she just wanted a regular TSH test. She was just rechecking my TSH for medication. In April my T4 was 1.2.. It is so confusing to me. I do know I have dry skin and am constipated slightly meaning not a regular bowl movement.

TSH is affected by so many things that at best it is only an indicator, to be considered along with more important indicators such as symptoms and also levels of the biologically active thyroid hormones, Free T4 and Free T3.  So to answer your question about meds, we really need to know about any symptoms you have, and also your Free T4 and Free T3 levels, along with their reference ranges shown on the lab report.
