Oh Yes!! Big Diff. Like stella, I always had a hard time with it emotionally, but since I have been hypo, (3 years at least), it has gotten worse. Drs. tested me for menopause and it was neg., treated for anxiety, depression, and I think it was thyroid all along.
I am actually relieved when my period starts, because then I know why I was so crazy.
Thanks for posting. You have given me some hope as I am right now suffering 27/7 but definately worse when the PMS hits. Oh the tyhroid is such a lovely thing. It has taken away so much!
I was miserable with thyroid symptoms for years - where things never let up no certain time of a any month. Just kept pounding the he// out of me all the time.
Now that I am optimal, I am back to having most days be excellent and only suffer right before my "thing" starts.
Major difference for me on this one.
I feel great right all month - but right before it comes, I am miserable.
I always was a hard person during that monthly time - but since my thyroid was burnt out - I crawl right on of my skin.
I have to stay: no difference really. My symptoms are bad pretty much all the time!
