Splitting Armour in half

I would like to know how anyone is able to split a 30mg Armour pill. I have tried a very sharp knife and a pill splitter. Mine just crumbles. UGH Any tricks? Or is 30mg a day ok to take all at once because it's so low?

Funny, I was just wondering the same thing about my Naturethroid this morning. I just end up having to divide the crumbled bits up into whatever looks closest to "halves".
