Subcute Thyroiditis with normal thyroid test

For the past 3 years I have been low (hyper) to normal my thyroid test. Now they are in normal range. I was dx with subacute thyroiditis but never been treated ( seen 3 different endo's). Uptake low, bengin goiter, 3 ultrasound continue to show increased enlargement in my thyroid, antibodies are went from 176 to 113. Continously have pain (throbbing)in my neck off and on especially when I intake salty foods, tightness around throat (sometimes difficulty swallowing), and constantly hoarseness. I feel tired all the time, sometimes on edge, and irritiable. First a lost 22 pounds in 2 months now I have gained 44 pounds within the last six months. I eat very healthy.

Is there anything I can take to decrease the enlargement of thyroid and antibodies levels? The doctors do not want to treat me with thyroid medications because I'm right on the border of thyroid test begin normal. They called me euthyroid whatever that means. They just want me to continue to get tested every three months which I've been doing for the past 3 years without treatment.

I went to the vitamin shoppe and they recommend selenium 200 mg with a multi vitamin. I brought it but have not tried it because I read the side effects of to much selenium. What do you think?

Ultrasound shows that my thyroids steadily have increase in size. The last uptake was last year with a 1% of iodine uptake.

The egg yolk is the natural source of selinium.
some forum users here reported that selenium suppliments were not effective for them. The selenium is believed to reduce the TPO antibodes level.
The presence of them suggests autoimmune thyroiditis instead of subacute one.
Any details of the ultrasound /uptake test?
.Anti-inflammatory medications such as aspirin or ibuprofen are used to control pain in mild cases of  thyroiditis, however they will not stop the gland from growing.
