Switching from Levo to Synthroid? Conversion rate?
bncrump
Just curious if there is a difference with the 2 meds. I take 125 mcg Levothyroxine now. Dr switched me to Synthroid...would the dosage stay the same?
Thanks!

Synthroid, Levoxyl, and other brands of generic Levothyroxine all have comparable doses.
If you switch brands from generic to Synthroid, the dose would remain the same unless your doctor changes your dosage for some reason.
