Symptoms one year after PT

I am just about one year out of my surgery (PT).  I was ok and about a few months ago, my body has started to have some changes and I am wondering if they could be related to the thyroid changes.  My bloodwork always comes back in normal range and I am not on meds for my PT.  I am not sure what this is related to:

My blood pressure was always low, now I get dizzy and tired very easily and my blood pressure is 78/58 and it used to be 90/60's.  I always had sensitivity to hot and cold, but now I get so cold I shiver and it feels like the blood is being drained from me some days.... just darn exhausted.  It is not all the time, but when it comes on a few times in the month, it really makes me wonder.

Any suggestions are appreciated....

I'd suggest getting your adrenals tested. With low blood pressure and being so cold it is highly likely you have adrenal insufficiency.

This seems very odd, every time I go for blood it comes back ok and they tell me NO meds are needed.  I wonder if it is starting to shut down and it won't show in the bloodwork until a certain point.

Symptoms are here and persist.

Hi and WELCOME back to our Community!!!!!

I was thinking the same thing on the other side.  80% sometimes never work the same again after a partial -- I being living proof of that.  Recently the same dose I've been on is much different TSH .. like 2.4 vs. 1.5 to 1.8 on the same dose just a year ago.  I do believe my other side is functioning even less.

Keep us posted and so glad to see you stop by again!

Get an FT3, FT4 and TSH test done.
Looks like your other lobe of your thyroid is starting to struggle and is failing.
You may need T4 meds very soon.
