Does you doctor monitor both FT3 and FT4 as well as TSH? Are you symptom-free? TSH is a poor diagnostic, but a TSH of 11 does not usually mean that your "dosage is adjusted to the correct level" (unless something other than thyroid hormone levels is keeping your TSH level artificially elevated).
Michelle, I certainly would not increase your dosage of Synthroid, the symptoms you describe could be a result of a recent increase of your Synthroid medication. If you have a General Practicioner I would go see him/her to see what is going on.
I have been on Synthroid for about a year and it took over 9 months to get the dosage adjusted to the correct level, I was patient and just worked with my doctor to get to the right level. My TSH is still 11 and am on 175 MCG of synthroid, however I weigh 195 Pounds.
Hope this helps. Steve
Do you have your latest labs, with date and reference ranges? Ranges are specific to your lab and have to come from your own lab report. High heart rate is not usually a symptom of hypo, and many of your other symptoms can "cross over" and be symptoms of both hyop and hyper. Does your doctor have someone covering for him who might order labs if yours aren't recent?
