Synthroid Dose using current pills
My current Synthroid pills are 100mcg daily. My Dr. just changed my dosage to 125 mcg daily and my drugs are mail ordered. How can I utilize my current 100mcg to get the 125 mcg dosage until the new prescription arrives? Thank you!
you can buy 25 mcg and take both 100 mcg and 25 mcg pills together.
or with current 100 mcg pill take 1 and cut it to 2 halves to make 50 mcg. then take that 50 mcg during alternate days with 100 mcg. like
100 mcg - (100 mcg + 50 mcg) - 100 mcg - (100 mcg + 50 mcg) - 100 mcg and so on.
