Synthroid/Sweat

I was diagnosed as hypothyroid many years ago.  Today my dr. lowered my dose of synthroid.  I have really been sweating alot lately.  Could it be that I was taking too much medication?

Did you have a problem sweating before he lowered your synthroid?

Did you mean to say he LOWERED or increased your synthroid?

My expierence has been if my synthroid dose is too much I have excessive sweating, but if my levels are lowered No problems (with sweating). It seem for me that in order to feel alert and not loose hair I have to have my tsh level on the low side-but the catch is I have to put up w?sweating easier and feeling anxious.

Do you know what your last tsh level was and why he lowered your dose??

My suggestion is if you still have an issue in a couple of days call your doc and let them know-maybe make an appointment  :) !

thats exactly what happened with me & it was  from too much med.  I have had hypo for years also. I kept breaking out in seats.
