Synthroid action

I have just been put on Synthroid for hypothyroidism. When can I expect it to see signs of improvement from this condition?  Thanks.  BB

I was put on .25mc of synthroid, felt real good not too long after I started. I then noticed around 1PM & afternoon got real tired like I had to sleep & yawning alot. Also hot flashes. Told Dr's office & he told me to take 1/2 of 25mc pill. That seems like nothing not to mention cutting that little pill in half again. Have you heard of this?

Been about a week here.. I can see in improvement in some areas.. but not in all.  Hope everything works out for you!

everybody is different, some can feel the difference the first day, it normally takes 4-6 weeks to be stabilized. also it depends if it's the right dose for you. if you are put on the right dose, i think you shall feel a difference within 1 week.
