Synthroid and Effexor

Anyone out there taking synthroid for hypo and effexor?   just wondering if there are any side effects from mixing these two meds...i am very uneasy about taking meds at all and very scared to mix medication..i also drink red wine once in a while...wondering if this is ok with these two meds

I dont take effexor but I take celexa and zyprexa in the evening and my syn throid in the am. you want to take them at least 4 hours apart. you dont want anything interfereing with the synthroid absorption.I will tell you since I have been on synthroid I am now on the lowest dose of my meds. I am bi polar so I am too scared to stop my head meds but I am doing well on the low doses.

I have read of a lot of people being on anti-depressants and thyroid meds and not having problems.  They work on two different areas of the body.
