I have felt like I was going crazy for about eight months, heart palpatations, can't concentrate, forgetfull, tired, anxienty, stressed and no patients. I went for my Dr apt and the they send me for more blood work then straight to a Bio Nucular x-ray.
Blood test came back with a score of T3 was 37, T4 was 2.3 and THH was 0.1. I have no idea what any of these scores mean except for it must be not good for them to now send me to the bio test. Just finished that yeterday so I will get those result back Stat as pr my DR.
Someone help me understand what all this means :)

I am 53, have Hashimotos, fibro and am hypo and just got my results back. For the past 5 years I have been on 90mg Armour Thyroid. I have been so exhausted lately. My mom is sick as is my husband. I have been on the east coast for 3 months and live on the west coast! So, I got the test done here and just got my results.
TSH - Range 0.35 - 5.50 mine 0.7
T4 - Range 0.61 - 1.76 mine 0.97
Heres the catcher!
T3 - Range 2.3 - 4.2 mine 4.7
I feel so tired and lousy. Dr called and had his nurse tell me everything is "fine" and to stay on the same meds. My joints are soooo swollen!
What do you think? Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

You don't have the TSH level?
High F/T-4 with even Higher T-3 with suppressed/low TSH, suggest Hyper/Graves' Disease (autoimmune thyroid).
Keep her stress down as much as possible, plenty of rest and at least 8 hours sleep. By pass exercising or any strenuous activities and stimulates, no smoking. Beta-blockers can help control some of the heart issues.
Treatment is more effective than non-treatment. There are three treatment options; ATDs, RAI, surgery. RAI and surgery is more effective than ATDs, however it is a matter of choice.
As long as she adheres to treatment and medication, there are no risks.
Good luck to both of you.
