Hi,
I just wanted to tell you, I am the lucky one I only had hahitoxicosis not cancer. I can only imagine the hell you and the others with the cancer diagnosis and treatments you have had to endure has went through, I only had RAI to ablate my thyroid so I would be easier to level out. Thyroid effects EVERY cell , organ and function in our bodies, NOTHING is left untouched by thyroid problems of any sort. I've had thyroid issues for twenty years that have greatly effected my life, and I long since have forgotten what normal was, I am doing better after RAI it's helped level me out for now. Thyroid is a lifetime battle, whether it's been removed, nucked, or needs constant med adjustment. I do feel fortunate that the thyroid is treatable unlike many other conditions that are not, but it doesn't chamge the suffering, the worry or the many many symptoms that have to be endured everyday, or the lack of information and understanding we recieve from many who has not endured any kind of thyroid issues at all. I just wanted to tell you, it is awful what you're going through, if you can find the positive and feel blessed that it isn't something worse that is better for the depression and mental parts of it, it's like looking at the positive side of a disaster, it'll help you emotionally get through, but when you're feeling like **** it's difficult to see any positive, especially when no one seems to understand the agony you're going through.
Well just wanted to add my comment and to encourage youin this battle.
Pam
