I did not make my self clear, they have done other test.  The mono cystes are always elevated his Iga is low the Igg Igm and Ige are normal.  They did a thyroid panel and his ped said his tsh was extremely high.  They have been very conerned that he has been having thyroid storm.   They are doing all the testing they possibly think of and can do on him.  I just want to know if anyone knows of any toddler with low tsh.  I can't find any info on it.

You need to get them to do a free T3 and free T4, along with the TSH.  What was his TSH level?

Monocytes help fight infections.

If CBC is the only test they've done, how do you know his TSH is high? That's not typically part of a CBC.

If your current doctor won't help/do more tests, then you need to find one who will; growth and development depend on adequate thyroid hormones.

He has been in the 5 percentile for weight since is 9 month checkup.  He is irratable 1 minute and bouncing off the walls the next, does not sleep for more than a 2 hours stretch at least 3 days a week.  He has very thin wispy hair has never had a hair cut because he has none to cut.  His attenrion span is about 30 seconds.  Since december he has been running a temp of 101-103 for 48 to 72 hours followes by a rash.  Then just as quickly as the temp and rash appear they disapear.  No other symptoms of a cold, no runny nose, no reddness of ears or throat.  Just the sudden fever and then the rash.  Each time the dr.'s do a cbc & his monocytes are very elevated.  This is the only test they have done yet.

High TSH indicates hypothyroidism, but since TSH is a pituitary hormone, you need to insist on other tests to determine actual thyroid status.

Have they done any other tests?  Did they do a Free T3 and/or Free T4 test?  Any tests for antibodies?  What symptoms does he have?

We need more information from you, in order to help you and your son.
