TSH levels and caffine intake

I have been diagnosed with hypothyroidism after my second child. I routinely get my tsh levels checked. Does caffine intake effect the results of my TSH?

I was told to stay away from caffeine while taking medicine for thyroid. I have cut back to one cup of coffee in the morning however. (can't wake til I have it). If I am going in for blood tests for thyroid, I will skip it. I will also bring my pill with me so I can take it right after they take my blood.

I am not sure BUT many here have found that caffeine or any stimulant mixed with Synthroid type meds can cause excitablity ... I have finally gotten better with my body accepting it but it took 1.5yrs!
