Vitamin B-12 deficiency can cause severe fatigue, as the main symptom and if left untreated, can cause numbness, tingling or burning of the hands, feet, legs, etc.
You should ask for Free T3 and Free T4 thyroid hormone tests, since TSH does not always reflect actual thyroid hormone status.
Good luck...
Looked at my bloods and looks like tsh been done and it was 1.53. Not has t3 or t4 done, I had bloods done for number of reasons one was b12 which was 100 and have now had loading doses, but the symptoms are similar to throid, not on medication for throid, thanks
I assume you're referring to a TSH level of 1.53? If so, TSH isn't really a thyroid level; it's a pituitary hormone that regulates thyroid hormones and it's not always real accurate. Is that the only test being done? You should also be getting Free T3 and Free T4, which are the actual thyroid hormones.
Are you on thyroid replacement medication? If so, which one, what dosage and for how long have you been on it?
