Was diagnosed with Hashimotos today but doctor is not sending me to a endo. is that normal?

thank you so much for your info she seems to know what she is doing so i think i will see how it goes..........
Depends if your doctor is well versed enough with thyroid disease and feels confident enough to treat you, that they will not send you to an Endo. Endo's are not the be all and end all of thyroid disorders by the way. Many are highly trained in diabetes and a tiny bit of thyroid info. If you do need to see one, make sure you ask around for one who is GOOD!
