Skin Hot to Touch at Night

Does anyone with hypothyroid - Hasimoto get really hot skin at night.  This  mainly occurs with my bodice and upper legs.  My feet remain cold, with no fever.

You are welcome! I am hypothyroid as a result of Hashimoto's. I do get that hot at night, and I have read that night sweats/severe hot flashes (at night) are fairly common symptoms for hypothyroid individuals.  I do not experience this as often now that my levels are getting a little better, but I tend to be much more careful now about not covering up in a way that will keep my body from cooling also.

Thank you for your input.  You also get this hot.  Do you have hypo thyroid.  Does this happen when your levels are in check?

I generally have to sleep with a sheet, no blankets, or I end up with severe night sweats and burn up.  If I do use a blanket, I can only cover up to my waist with it, which is helpful since my feet and legs freeze most of the time.
