Thyroid Ultrasound Question

Utrasound of thyroid:

Clinical History:
Abnormal thyroid funtion Test

Findings:

Right lobe measures 5X 1.1 X1.6cm. It exhibits homogenous echo texture.

Normal apperance of isthmus with a thickness of .2cm

Left Lobe of the thyroid measures 5x 1.1x1.6. It exhibits homogenous echo texture.

A few small benign looking lymph nodes in the internal jugular chains.

Impression:

Normal ultrasound examination of thyroid gland

Does anyone know why i would have these little lymph modes in my juglar chain? Is this something I should have biopsied,  or just believe they are benign.

The ultrasound has showed up lymph nodes that should be examined more by a CT scan.
These nodes are usually from lymphoma and are treatable.
Ask your Doc what treatment is available and if it is neccessary.
