Thyroid cancer for the forth time!

I was first diagnosed with papillary thyroid cancer back in 2006.  Since then, it has returned three more times and I have had four operations, three doses of radio iodine and am awaiting a further operation and radio iodine treatment.  Is there anyone out there that have had it return so many times?   I am awaiting results of CT scan and MRI scan to see if it has spread beyond the thyroid bed and lymph nodes in the neck.
I would love to hear from anyone who has had a similar journey to mine.

I understand you have had experience of thyroid cancer recurrance.  Mine has just returned for the third time and I have not come across anyone else who has had it more than twice.  I am having scans at the moment to see if it has spread beyond the thyroid bed and lymph nodes in my left neck where all the other occurances have been. Just need to know there are others out there like myself.
