You have to have both FT3 and RT3 tested on the same blood draw.  If FT3 wasn't tested, you will have to repeat RT3 as well.

Your RT3 is kind of high in the range, but if your FT3 is as well, then it's not an issue.

I get my FT3 results the morning after the blood draw.  If I were you, I'd call my doctor and ask for result and reference range.

RT3 level, by itself, is pretty meaningless.  What's important is the ratio of FT3 to RT3.  So, we have to wait for your FT3 to calculate that.

That is low, but you are taking a good amount.  Once your D level starts to come up, your doctor will probably cut the dose back a bit.  Just remember that for proper thyroid health, D has t be well up in the range.

Okay, I'm a little slow this morning.  LOL  Now I get it...you have IBS C.  That could definitely compromise your ability to absorb vitamins, so you want to go for high quality stuff.

How much D do you take, and how low was it?

Multivitamins are notorious for not doing a lot.  Typically, they don't use the more expensive, more bio-available forms of the nutrients.  You'd probably be better off getting a good quality supplement that is B-12 only.

I think your post was cut off at the end.

Your B-12 is too low.  In many countries, B-12 range has a lower limit of 500.  Many people find they have to be high in the range, or even above range.  You should supplement that and follow up to make sure oral supplements are working for you.  Pernicious anemia is the inability to absorb B-12 through the gut; if you have PA, oral supplements will do you no good.

If iron hasn't been tested, ask for an iron panel and make sure it includes ferritin.  Iron is a big factor in hair loss.

Are you supplementing D?  How low is it?

Are you vegetarian?

Your FT4 is on the low side.  It's 30% of range, and the target for FT4 is around 50%.  Your FT3 wasn't tested, so we don't know what that's doing.  FT3 is the test that correlates best with symptoms.

AACE recommended many years ago that TSH range be changed to 0.3-3.0.  As you can see, most labs and doctors have been very slow to adopt that "new", more reasonable range.  According to the AACE range, your TSH would be above range, indicating hypo.  Also, 3.0 is higher than most of us feel well.

Your TPOab is in range,  TPOab can be somewhat elevated with other autoimmune diseases as well.

I think it would be a good idea to retest FT4 and TSH and make sure they add in FT3 this time.  You might also ask for TGab (thyroglobulin antibodies), which are the other marker for Hashi's.  Only one has to be elevated to confirm Hashi's, but both have to be tested to eliminate it.

Have you had a complete iron panel that includes ferritin?  Ferritin deficiency can cause fatigue and hair loss and is necessary for the proper synthesis of thyroid hormones.  Vitamin D and B-12 deficiencies can also cause fatigue.

What are the reference ranges for your FT4 and TPOab (thyroid peroxidase antibodies)?  Ranges vary lab to lab, so we have to have them to see where you are in the range.

Do you have hypo symptoms?
