what is meant by your thyroid being dead taking, can this prolem be fixed by taking a pill, as my Dr. said we can jump start, by taking this med snythroid a littlewhite pill?

franken throid.   I heard that one day they will be able to transplant thyroids, but it won't be in our time.

If your thyroid is "dead" (no longer producing hormones, there is no way to "jump start" it...... the only thing you can do is take the medication to replace essential hormones your thyroid can no longer produce.

When you say "dead taking"   did you have a thyroid uptake scan?  If so, what were the results?  did they give you a number at the end of the uptake scan?  If so, what was this number?

Hello friend, I assume thyroid is unfunctional.  Don't know if thyroid can be be brought back to functioning, do know medications can replace the function of thyroid if thyroid stops working or removed :)
