Please double check that Vitamin D result. could it be 20 instead of 2?
You should be aware that TSH is a pituitary hormone that is affected by so many variables that it is totally inadequate to be used as the sole diagnostic for thyroid issues.
For your bloodwork tomorrow, I urge that you request that they test for the biologically active thyroid hormones, which are Free T3 and Free T4 (not the same as Total T3 and Total T4). If the doctor resists, then you should insist on it and don't take no for an answer. You need to know these levels to really understand your thyroid status.
When results are available, then please get a copy of the lab report and post results and reference ranges and members will be glad to help interpret and advise further.
These are the most recent test results I have (October 2010)
Calcium 8.8
Vit D 2.0
TSH 3.6
HGB 11.6
HCT 36.5
no ranges, I have more bloodwork scheduled for tomorrow.
Please post your last thyroid test results and their reference ranges shown on the lab report.
