test result help

hi there, i just got my labs back.  my tsh- 2.03, free t4- 0.7, free t3- 278.  i have been taking 37.5 of levothyroxin and 5mcg of cytomel.  my doctor said to up my levothyroxin to 50 mg and continue cytomel 5mc.  does this sound right to anyone?  help my hypo symptoms are returning.  i have been on levo since july and cytomel since december.

yes it sounds like an appropriate dose increase.

You should be tested again in 6 weeks to see what your levels are then.

By most lab ranges, you look a little hypo. And if you feel hypo, then you are.

In the future please include the ranges the lab uses, many variations are used.

With the increase you should feel better. Keep in mind , if you have Hoshimoto hypo thyroid, you will need increases as the thyroid is killed of more from the antibodies. Its best to schedule more frequent labs to avoid going hypo, otherwise you are constantly upping meds too late. Like chasing an invisible target.
