25 mcg is such a small dose, that you really won't feel much. My doc told me 25 was for children and she started me on 50. That was not enough. I'm now on 88 and waiting for another bump in meds but doing MUCH better.
Your frees are sooo low that you will probably need many more bumps before you feel like a 'normal' person again.
I grumbled when other thyroid patients told me to be patient this September, but it does take a while. You are on the right track.
Remember to take the Synthroid on an empty stomach with a full glass of water and wait an hour before eating breakfast or drinking coffee. Other medicines, vitamins taken within four hours of Synthroid can interfere with the drug, making it less potent. So can raw cabbage, broccoli and soy products if taken within four hours of Synthroid.
Make sure your B12, D and Magnesium levels are tested/treated because we Hashis tend to be low on the vitamins. I take Magnesium three times daily, which helps with Hashi constipation. I take Selenium once daily for the swelling.

These are the results of the test I requested after the TSH test done 3 weeks ago TSH = 4.7
Taking 25mcg till 12 Decmber then re-evaluate.
Anti-microsomal Antibody test = > 1000.0 IU/mL Ref = 0.0-3.9
Thyroglobulin Antibody test = > 1000.0 IU/mL Ref = 0.0-14.4
Free T-4 = 1.1 ng/dl ref = 0.9-1.7
Free T-3 = 2.6 pg/ml ref = 2.0-4.4
ANA Titer = 1:320 ref=1:40
Have you had the TGab and TPOab tests to determine if antibodies are present? I have Hashimoto's auto-immune thyroiditis. My antibodies don't like my thyroid. I have the multinodular goiter, too. The biopsy was less painful than a trip to the dentist. If the nodules are large enough to biopsy, then you should request one.
Considering that you are on Levo, then you were obviously diagnosed hypothyroid at some point. You should definitely get the antibodies tested for Hashimoto's. Mine was inherited from my mom, who never knew she had it until after I was diagnosed.
My Levo has shrunk my nodules to pencil points, and they are barely seen on the ultrasound. I take selenium once daily for the swelling, and Motrin as needed for the swelling. A cool cloth lightly draped over the neck helps, too. DO NOT touch your thyroid. That makes swelling worse. With each increase in Levo, my swelling is almost non-existent.
My Hashi didn't kick in until after childbirth, which is the common time for Hashimoto's.
