There is no excuse for a doctor who ignores symptoms. After all, what good are "normal" labs if you still don't feel well? Best of luck in convincing him, but if you can't, find yourself another doctor so you don't continue to suffer even longer.
Thanks for the information. Just as I suspected, but I sure hope that I can convince my doctor to give me an increase. I've been feeling like this way too long.
Your FT4 is way too low, and so is your FT3. TSH is a pituitary hormone and a very poor indicator of actual thyroid levels. You definitely need an increase, which you know based on your symptoms. Meds containing T3, like NT, will suppress your TSH, often to the point where it has to be ignored. Your doctor should be adjusting meds based on FT3 and FT4 levels. If he's not, you need to either educate him or find a new doctor.
