thyroid op

hi , i have jusr had a thyroid removed and i am not on any meds , i still feel tired most of the time but ad to go back to work :(. a would like to know how long it will be before i start to feel a change in myself and i seem to be eating a lot more .its been 2 weeks since my op and my neck and chin still feels num is this normal .thank you

Please post your current thyroid hormone tests.  It sounds as though you may have gone hypo, which makes sense, since you have no thyroid to produce hormones.

I can't tell you what is normal, since I only discovered my thyroid probs last Oct, and have since had a partial thyroidectomy (this July)
I don't feel any different since my op, however I had bloods taken at my 1st check up 2 mths later, and I am now Hypothyroid.
Post op, I had a little swelling and tightness around the wound which lasted for several weeks, but I can't say I had any numbness at all.
When do you have a check up, as I would have thought you will need to be on some meds surely now you don't have any thyroid?
I feel more hungry too lol sometimes all I think about is food!
