It looks like you need about 80mcg of Levoxyl to get you where you want to be. There is a way to do that by figuring a weekly total, and taking a larger dose one day a week.

But...

You say you feel off and your thyroid looks swollen. You may be going into another bout of thyroiditis, and your levels may start jumping around again. They may be now.

Have you had antibody tests run?
Have you had an ultrasound of the thyroid?

Those would be good things to do, as it sounds like you are being treated, but it doesn't sound like you have been diagnosed with a specific cause for your Hypothyroidism.

You need a specific diagnosis so that you can at least know what to expect. An evaluation of the damage to your gland would give you a prognosis, and may show that other treatment is needed.

This would be a good time to have those tests run if you haven't had them in the past, and recheck you TSH and your Free T4.

Getting your TSH below two would be good, and getting your Free T4 up about ten hundredths would be optimal. Maybe the doctor can help you figure out how to get there, assuming your levels look the same as in February.

From what you are saying, I'll bet your levels have changed. A swollen thyroid is a naughty thyroid.

Best of luck to you.
