I just found out that i have this and when i asked the nurse who called she said once i get my meds regulated i will start to lose weight. I was put on levothyroxine 25mcg andin 60days i will have blood drawn again. how true is that will i be battling wit my weight for the rest of my life?? Will i cont. to have this up and down feeling crying for no darn reason at all?

I was on 125mcg for about two years now, and weight was always maintained. Like Cheryl said, "everyone is different".

My wt. is exactly the same .. on 75mcgs of Synthroid; ea. person is so so different hard to predict!
