What are the pros and cons of a TT?

I have had a partial thyroidectomy due to nodules.  I have more nodules.  I had a biopsy about 5 years ago and it was ok.  I have had a US and it showed more nodules.  Now they want to do Nuclear Medicine test.  I am tired of all the tests especially with a copay of $200.  My symptoms are hair loss, brittle hair, partial loss of eyebrows, eyelashes broke off, extremely cold, nervousness, IBS worse, skin thinning. Lost hair on my arms too.  Very dry skin and hoarseness.  Have to clear my throat a lot to be able to talk.  Just fed up.  One doctor doesn't want to do anything.

Please post the result from your US so that some of our members who are very knowledgeable about that area can comment.  Also, what size were the nodules?  Were you ever diagnosed previously as having Hashimoto's Thyroiditis as the possible cause for the nodules?

You have numerous symptoms that are frequently associated with being hypothyroid.  Please post your thyroid related test results and reference ranges shown on the lab report.  If tested for Vitamin D, B12 and ferritin, please post those results also.
