What do I do next?

About 8 months ago I started seeking medical help.  I had every symptom you could imagine of hypothyroidism.  All of my bloodwork kept coming back normal.  I found a great endocrinologist that determined that I was low in pregnenolone, Vit D, Vit B-12 and I had a positive ANA Test.  The rhuemetologist ruled out lupus.  After taking supplements for the deficiencies I was feeling much better.

Fastforward to 8 weeks ago I started getting fatiqued again.  All of the glands in my neck swelled up, my throat got horse and it feels hard to swallow.  I also have gained 30 lbs in the last 8 months without a change in my diet.  I thought my salivary glands were swollen as I kept getting that biting into a lemon sensation and something under my tongue feels swollen.  My ears also hurt.  My PCP referred me to an ENT who felt a nodule on my thyroid and sent me for a sonogram.

I have waited for over a week for the results, left numerous phone messages to not have the Dr. call me back.  So I called the radiologist office who said I could come pick up my report but the Dr. did get the report a week ago.

The report shows that I have 4 solid nodules on my right lobe the largest 2.2 X 1.2 X 1.4 cm
On my left lobe I have one solid nodule  that is 4.5 X 2.7 X 2.5 cm yikes my left lobe measure 5.3  x 2.4 x 2.5

After I got this report I got the message from the Dr's. nurse that he has not reviewed my report yet but would touch base with me at my follow up appointment in 6 weeks!!!!

So obviously I am not waiting 6 weeks.  Should I find another ENT or go to my endocrinologist or someone else?

I agree....go back to your endo who can then determine what further testing needs to be done, such as a biopsy.

I'd go to my endo...you think he's great, he can review the US, recommend where to go from here, and recommend an ENT who cares if you need one.  The ENT sounds like a jerk.
