After a TT, why in the world would you stop taking your thyroid med?  Thyroid hormone is necessary to sustain body functions.  Going without causes symptoms that eventually turn into worse medical conditions, and in extreme cases, even death.

What symptoms do you have?   What thyroid med and dosage were you originally taking?  Have you been tested for your thyroid hormone levels since the thyroidectomy?
