The second endo told us today he thinks the problem is Hashimotos disease.  I hate to second guess him but must based largely on the low TSH and two high TSI tests.  Am afraid we will need to seek a third opinion.  Thankfully, whatever it is seems to be at a relatively low level at this point.

Thnks for you suggestion.  Have done so much reading on this topic I am overwhelmed.

I have never heard of Graves going into remission when you still have your thyroid. If it still has a gland to attack, it will not calm down. You might just being swinging at a slow pace.
Graves disease has to be taken seriously as it can  affect your heart and make you really sick.
Please do some research and reading on Graves disease. You can find info here on the health pages and also google.
Please keep us updated and I hope you get some answers soon!! :)

Thanks for your response.  I am new to this so am not certain on the correct procedure for responding to your question.  Hope this works.

The first endo says Graves Disease and urges removal of the thyroid.  We noticed some anomalies in the test results which would seem to call into question the Graves diagnosis and so went to a second endo who hints at Graves in remission but has not yet given us his diagnosis and recommendation.

It looks like you might have more than one thyroid autoimmune disease going on. You are positive on the thyroid stim test which is indicator of Graves, but yet you are high on TPO Ab which is indicator for Hashimoto's.   TSH shows low  but your Frees are normal range. Your Free T3 is actually pretty low normal. With these antibodies, your thyroid levels may be swinging all over the place. When are you do back for another set of thyroid labs? You should have a TSH, Free T4 and Free T3. The T3 uptake and free thyoxine index are outdated.
What did your Dr say???
Your Growth hormone is low.
