I wish for my Jan scan be clear and free of cancer. Then take one day at a time and hopefully I will become a happier person to all those around me.
Wishing everyone with Thyroid issues a much better 2009!
I would like and wish to get my life back to the time when I felt healthy, alive and full of energy! Not to feel so down and muscle to not hurt when I walk or try and get up! to feel like I am 20 again =)-
I wish for my thyroid to get back to normal state quickly !!! and to remain healthy and functioning! I want my emotional health back!!!!!!!!! and stop this thyroid rollercoater of hell.
I wish for strength to remain strong during this healing process! as I wish this for all of you too! oh yeah !Im with you chitchat I self med too!!!!!! just did it..hehehhehe since I just went for my blood draw...lol
Happy New Year to you all and heres to a healthy Thyroid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I want to get off this thyroid roller coaster and be myself again, lose some of this weight I'm struggling with and have enough energy to work on the many projects that I really want to do and have not had any energy to do for almost 2 years now.
to be cancer free by the end of the year and start thinking about having a baby!!!!!
to not be on the thyroid roller coaster anymore. settle for whatever it is..
I would like to have a measurable TSH again.
I wish that Armour wasn't on back order in larger doses.
My wish is for a good scan and Tg in January, so that I don't have to do RAI again!
Oh, and I hope that the LID is somehow much better this time (fat chance, I know!)
To get my life back in track the way it use to before I got sick. Since my thyroid issue seems to be affecting other parts of the body. And, yes! get my voice back. I am getting tired of being asked if i'm a man.
I want to be more knowledgable about this disease, so that I'm able to help others and answer more questions.
Happy New Year
Terri
I'm going to try to not focus on the anxiety and depression and put my energy toward getting my thyroid regulated. My wish is that all else will fall into place after that.
My thyroid is behaving quite nicely in the mince meat maker in the hospital. Health wise without a thyroid has already been challenging to say the least! My wish is to get to the top of Mt Shasta without the aid of a sherpa, a boy scout and several hunky men offering me red wine as a cojoling offer to get to the top.As I live at only about 300 feet above sea level and Mt Shasta is something like 14,000 feet this will be a challenge on many levels.
So when not if, I do it, I will never whine about being ill ever again...I'll be complaining about the blisters on my feet!
Hmmm...I would like me back: my hair, brain, nails, complexion, humor, sex life, energy......that's all.
My Thyroid New Years' wish is for my scan in January to be clean so that I can officially sign up for Bikram Yoga teacher training in April and get my studio open by the end of the year.
My New Year's resolution is to have a better social life. Being too tired much of last year totally tanked my social life.
To get my life back in track the way it use to be by correcting my thyroid issue to a manageable state.
That my thyroid will finally level out from my hashi's, and that my body will finally really start healing. I see the light at the end of the tunnel.....in 2009 I want to GRAB it!! I want to bask in it and never leave it!!

My levels are at the mercy of my doctor since I don't have a thyroid.
ChitChatNine: Do you really adjust your dosage? I have always been scared to lower my dosage without my doctors conscent.
To shrink my nodule to Timbuktu and back!! xx
To get my Synthroid/TSH regulated so I look and feel like "me" again. To spend more time here helping others as I was helped. To never have to have RAI again!
Happy New Year!
To get throught this and become a better happier person!
Yes I can answer this. Never lose sight of hope. I have been out of it for 29 years. Now that my brain is starting to function again I am going through all these emotions. But let me tell you. Its only been 6 months on pills, and 29 years lost, but I hope I will help you guys. :)
To get to the Endo when I feel my TSH has changed vs. procrastinating and making excuses and adjusting the dose myself of my Synthroid cause I'm pretty lazy about going for a blood-draw.
