When do I get energy, or HOW?

I have been on 100mcg of Levo, and 5mcg of Cytomel a day for a few months now. I am also on Cortef for low cortisol numbers.

I feel better than before my surgery(partial thyroidectomy and Hashimotos) but still have no energy! My legs burn and feel weak as well as itch under the skin. I also tingle and am sensitive to sounds in the morning.

Here are my recent labs with ranges: When and how will I feel better. It seems like if i try to add more Cytomel into the equation, I feel HYPER. Stinks

TSH - .36        .4 - 4.5 ...  ..
Total T4 - 8.6    4.5 - 12.5
Ft4- 1.1            .8 - 1.8  .....
FT3- 363            230 - 420....
T3 Total - 125      76 - 181

Thanks all happy Monday

Moose, I actually split the Cytomel, one in the morn and one at around 2-3pm. 5mcg total for the day

The lab was done in the morning, but i did not take my meds before getting blood work.

Any ideas? I think i need to get the adrenals looked at again. It seems to be the only variable left?

Fuel, as you probably know, your labs look pretty good.

***What time was that lab in correlation with when you took the meds?***

The Cyto 5 you take, have you tried splitting it, half in the early morn, then half late morn or afternoon? That was fast acting stuff, I remember.

Thank you very much for your kind words. It is good for me and bad for you to hear other people going through the same thing. Sorry you are going through the same thing, but thanks for sharing!

I can't dissect any of your labs {sorry, I can't even figure my own out, lol}  but I can give you some encouragement.  Hang in there!  I am hyPER { working on med adjustments now}  and I feel itchy and I am very sensitive to sounds as well...so I do know how you feel.  It's not easy to hear but it does take a lot of adjustments to find the right dose.  Don't get discouraged and just really speak up to your doctor every time you go in to make sure that you are both on the same page.
Hope you feel better sooooon!

It sounds to me like you are still having a lot of symptoms from low cortisol from fatigued adrenals. When are you do back for more cortisol testing to see if you are on enough cortef?
Your thyroid labs look decent and you may even benefit from a small increase in T4 med....you are not at the mid normal range in which you should be.
