please anyone i'm looking for answers what could this be

my daughter she will be 4y/o on aug. 5th        she has had swollen lymph nodes  since she was  1 1/2 y/o her previous ped. told me that this was normal if she has been fighting off a infection and they should go away within 3 months  and order no tests    4 months later the lymphnodes were still swollen and he still said they were still due to an infection but  she wasn't showing any signs of an infrection this whole time not even a cold
i kept bring it up with her ped. and his  p. asistant  everytime i took her in and they kept saying same thing but they would never check anywhere else  and half the time wouldn't even check  them at all she started with 2   now  her being almost 4 we moved and  she has a new ped. when i told them of the lumps they checked her she now has them in her armpits  groin  and like 4 more in her neck for a total of  6 in her neck and 10 or 12  in all  this ped tested her for  TB  it was neg.;  cat scratch fever   neg; i'm really worried   i don't know what it could be she is  40 3/4" and 32 lbs    what should the doctor be doing he now wants to wait to see  what happens but i think we have been waiting long enough should i ask them to do something further or leave it a lone     and if  i should  request them to do something  what should i say

she  was sick  for a while when she was  a new born but  she  has been really healthy    her muslce enzymes were tested when she was having problems walking    and the test came back saying her body didn't create  enzymes fast enough  for her muscles as she grows   but that it  she hasn't bee sick in almost 2 years and even back then minor colds      she has lymph nodes in her  neck  groin and armpits  is started with 2 and now has 6 =neck 2 in each armpit and 1 in each side of her groin

I would not wait and see any more.  They should run a full profile and at least a mono test. If your  Ped  is not receptive to your concerns find another. You are the mother listen to your instincts
A good ped will listen to you concerns and give them credence as you know your child better than anyone despite no medical background

Ask them to run a CBC (complete blood count) and thyroid panel on her.  She sounds awfully little for her age.  My 2 year old is in the 50-75 percentile (so not huge) and is 32 lbs and 36.25" tall.  This could be thyroid issues or worse.  Make them run these tests!!!  If they refuse...find a new doctor...immediately!!!

maybe instead of checking her FOR infection they should check how well she FIGHTS infection. Maybe they are enlarged because somethings off where they have to work too hard to keep her healthy. Does that make sense?? It does in my head but who knows. :-)

I have had 3 enlarged since I was a kid. I was told I had one too many ear, throat infections as a kid and the nodes are now scarred.

Have they done Blood tests on her to check her WBC  I don't think I would want to just sit around and wait for an answer either, Maybe just express how concerned you are and ask if there is anything else that could be tested that would rule out anything serious for your own piece of mind, I'm sorry I'm not a doc or even a nurse so I can't really help much, but I understand your concern (I have 3 kids of my own) I hope you get the answers you need soon, take care and let us know how you make out, I'll be praying for you all,
