...and same old sick symptoms
Smiler - in December 2009 you posted about solving conversion problems with calcium, vit D and B12. There is still no cytomel in Guatemala. Could I please beg a repeat of your post? I have 5 years on levo andwith low FT3
Smiler -I have an incomplete note from December 2009 about you solving non-conversion
That is incisive and decisive. Thank you. I've tried familly in UK but they can't get cytomel without prescription. I'll try US now.
Good to hear from you again, although it would be nicer under better circumstances. Sorry to hear you're still not feeling well.
A conversion issue is determined by comparing FT3 and FT4 results. If FT4 is 50+% of range, but FT3 remains low, that indicates slow conversion. If T4 meds are increase with no change in FT3 and symptoms don't resolve, it indicates a conversion issue.
Cytomel is a bit scary in your case because of your heart issues. If you can get it, will your doctor manage it for you, or are you on your own?
I am well, thanks.
