Thanks for the link. Yes, people on this board are amazing and very helpful.
Does this help at all? Find a Dr. link

Also I think in the Health Pages there is a link to refer to as well as all these great responses!

Thanks Dnmh and abby51! I will check out Cleveland:-) I live in Ann Arbor. My Endo doctor at UM Hospital is very nice. But I like to have a second opinion. I am troubled by the medication. But my surgeon and Endo both did not think it will have much negative side effects. It does take a lot time and effort to find a good doctor who is right.
LOL! It took me several years to find good doctors! Here in Cleveland there are 2 main hospital groups CC being one of them. I wont mention the other because some people have had great results with them and I don't bad mouth. The "other" one had me misdiagnosed for 4 years and I had pointless and sometimes painful tests based off that diagnosis that found nothing! My primary refused to look past that wrong diagnosis and look for an alternative reason for my health concerns, even when a specialist in that field said I didn't have it! (He is with Cleveland Clinic!) The only time I got real answers was when I got a second opinion from a Clevel Clinic doctor!
Yes, I did get very lucky this time around. I just wish we all didn't have to go through that...
What part of Michigan do you live in? I see an endo at MSU. I have been seeing him for about 9 years now.
My doctor is Dr. Hamaty - he's at the Strongsville Campus but the Main Campus has an endocrinology surgery center. if you type in www.eclevelandclinic.org they have a "Fnd A Doctor" tab where you can select by specialty. Each doctor has a link that will list their personal specialties. I will say that I have been happy with any doctor I've ever seen at any of their facilities.
Thanks. I live in Michigan, so Cleveland is very close. Do you recommend any particular doctors?
Depends on where you live. I really like Cleveland Clinic doctors and my endo is there.
