body aches

My doctor changed my levothyroid meds 3 weeks ago because i was very hyperthyroid, from 150mcg to 125mcg. I have really bad joint and body pains now...has anyone else experienced this?

Hi.  Anytime I had a dose adjustment, ie up or down, I experienced pretty tough joint/leg/hip pain .  It usually lated about two weeks and then subsided.  It was especially bad when laying down at night.

I hope my experience helps you.  Check with your Dr.  it may or may not have anything to do with the dose adjustment.

On what basis were you told you were hyper t?  Was it just because of a suppressed level of TSH, or was it because of actual symptoms of hyper t?
