breathlessness

I have a strange question...my thyroid numbers were normal last time I had them tested, but I was having constant breathlessness, and no, there is nothing wrong with either my heart or my lungs.  Since then I have been trying to regulate my dose, but the only thing that seems to help is when I alter the dose, either up of downward...it doesn't seem to matter which.  Help, please...I have never seen this problem addressed.

I've suffered from breathless ness pretty well all my life. Is idefinitely connected with streaa reaction and neeeding to escape. That's why it's so uncomfortable- not just puffed out a bit etc.
It's a sort of subtle drowning sensation that pervades every monent of the the day lurking in the backyard waiting to pounce. Is that it?
I know it is :)
i recently did a trial of Lugols Pot Iodide/Iodine mix 12% strength by applying to the thigh -one or two [max] drops whilst monitoring my BP.
After a few days I noticed my breathlessness andalso asthmatic cough stopped unexpectedly.
i had to stop the trial due to BP rising too much, though not as high as it could be.
I restarted after the cough returned but this time the cough stayed :(
FurtherI had a test for Iodine done to check safe doage over time and also Rev T3, being Sub Clinical hypoT and needing some ammo for Endo next week. [Not RT3 man, sadly]
The RT3 came out at 90x the limit and if not the Iodine [moderate dose, after all only 3x RDA approx -and not for long] I must be seriously ill with unknown problem or quite badly hypo T in tissues as FT3 low normal.
I've since researched this online [we know we're on out own on this stuff] and found some info about how the brain handles T3 differently to the cells and how Pot.Iodide is better for the thryroid and Iodine for the tissue take up.
I wonder if before the BP kicked up my cells were grabbing the Iodine whilst the Iodide was being grabbed by my thyroid and pumping up RT3 as I can't take levo either.
So there's the gist- does that gell with you and can you pursue that line of treatment.investigaion?
Kicking mechanism out of it's comfort zone [even if unhelpful to the body owner] may well give a space for symptomatic relief whilst restabilising.
On top of this it's well known that unless the adrenals are happy then thyroid meds produce problems.
The conversion issue is another important aspect and getting a RT3 number may be helpful- even if sourced by you, as I had to do in the UK.
All the best..Trev

As noted in your other thread, shortness of breath is a hypo symptom.

Here's a link to that thread:
