For over 6 years. Today has been a long day here. Very irritable, and tired. Just feel like I should lock myself in a room so I don't offend anyone else today! I keep wanting to get on Wellbutrin, but end up talking myself out of it... saying that once my levels are good I won't need them. But who knows, depression runs deep in my family.

This is good to know. I have been SO depressed lately. I went off Zoloft (because of the sexual side effect) in Feb. Then my thyroid went out of whack.... So I've been trying to get that straightened out (LOL) before I started my Wellbutrin. But I don't know if I can make it that long!

hashihater - I would really talk to your Dr. about a different AD. They can stop working. I had that happen with Paxil, then was switched to Zoloft. ( BTW I had the same sexual problems on Paxil. Maybe it's been my thyroid all along!)

I was on antidepressant after the birth of my daughter then was off them for about 15 years.  The hypohell from RAI put me into terrible depression and I've been on Celexa since then (2 years).

Many people develop a tolerance for antidepressants.  Have you talked to a doctor about trying an different one?

I'm not sure what thyroid meds or anti-depressants you are on but I *know* that I can't make it without Celexa and my thyroid meds.

Have you talked to your doctor about your meds??
