Right now I am so angry that I could spit.  I have been so sick for the past 2 weeks and everybody thought it was mental.  I am going to a psychiatrist on Tues but first I am calling my endo on Monday to tell him the test results.   I really am in a rage because of the misery that I have spent and nobody even thought to think about my thyroid causing.  That is what God told me from the beginning that it was physical not mental.  I don't know what they will do tuesday whether he will put me on an antidepressant or not but something has to be done about my thyroid.  I can't wait 3 or 6 months to have it checked because it is fluctuating too much.  I don't know what to do but I know the best doctor in theh world and that is Dr. Jesus and that is who I have always trusted and that Is who I am going to to find out what He wants done.  I have been too upset to even talk and they dont even care.  Do breathing exercises. do some crazy voodoo stuff  probably no voodoo but stupid stuff that I don't want to do.  I just want to be normal and be able to handle my life again.  I still have the food issue and that needs to be addressed further but again nothing pays for anything when it comes to celiac.  They pay if you are a diabetic but not a celiac.  I am not taking my thyroid pill tomorrow , the extra one as I donot want this to go lower.  If it is going that fast lower than what will another week do.  I think he need to let me go without any and bring it up a little.  I don't know what is good for me but I felt pretty good at 3.5 or 4.4  I think.   This is so crazy that it would be funny movie if it wasn't my life.     thanks for listening.   linda

I think you're right about the the TSH shift.

You have nodules that produce hormones whenever they feel like it, too? That complicates things.

Between being sensitive to the replacement hormones and the nodules contributing, I can see why you are having trouble getting to that certain TSH that makes you feel best.

Good luck with whatever direction you take. Medication decisions are sometimes hard to make.

Yes I did have a med change a few weeks ago.  He is giving me 37.5 Monday -Sat and 50 on Sun.  He wanted me to wait 3 months   I'm glad I didn't.  I felt good at 4.4 basically when we were at the holistic doctor on the 4th He asked how I was 1-10 and I said a 5.  I was handling what little depression I had and anxiety with the holistic stuff.  After that it was all down hill.  My husband thought something was wrong with my thyroid because of my hyperness and the worsen depression and anxiety.  I am close to going into hyper if I continue to take the extra hormone.  I am happy with the result only because it shows that this is too low for me and is what is causing most of my problems.  I was doing fine.  I am not going to take the extra hormone on Sunday until I talk to my endo.  I am taking a little extra lorazapam to calm me down now that I know what is going on.  I think everything else might be ok but the fast drop in 3 weeks to me is what did it to me as I am very sensitive to the hormones .  I have never been this low since I started.  I don't know what he will do but it has tocome up a little and so maybe the 50 on Sunday stopped will do it.  I have to be checked more often than he wants to do it.  My holistic doctor had this done.  I think I am still going to go the regular way with a regular antidepressant for the time being.  It is a tough decision.

I think the deepening depression was caused by this big sudden drop in tsh.  don't you  I certainly don't want to go hyper andn land in the hospital again.   My nodules also are producing hormone whenever they feel like it sooo.    thanks linda

Your blood test results look pretty good. :)

The TSH may be just a little low, but it may be REALLY close to what your body needs. I would be pretty happy about that. :)

Did you have a dosage change a few weeks ago with your Thyroid medication? If you did, you might want to get retested in another few weeks to be sure you are not going to go Hyper. Med changes are always unpredictable, it seems.

The depression issues we talked about in the other thread are probably partly because your TSH a few weeks back was too high. That will get a little better now, but it will likely take a few weeks.

When your TSH slides several points, it seems to bring on depression and anxiety. Having a TSH that is too high brings on those symptoms, too.

I would be happy with what the mailman brought you today. :)
