Could it be cancer?

I'm a 23 year old female. I went to the doctor with a hard painless lymph node under my ear. They gave me antibiotics and it didn't go away so I went back. She said my thyroid was swollen and it looked like I have something going on with my thyroid judging on the bulge of my eyes. She ran some bloodwork and everything was normal.

I'm going in for an ultrasound today and I don't know if I should be worried. My father had thyroid cancer when he was my age and I'm basically his twin. Some other symptoms (though possibly unrelated): extreme fatigue, semi frequent diarrhea(this has been happening for a long time though) crazy hot flashes, occasional dizziness.

Thanks in advance. Also how long does it usually take to get ultrasound results back?

Abnormal lymph node under ear usually is NOT a sign of thyroid cancer. can't say more until I see the ultrasound results.

I should also mention that I have a small pea size lump right in the middle of my throat, but it's pretty far down, almost inside that little circular indent at the bottom of your neck, about a half inch to an inch above my collar bones but right in the center.
