Would bone aches be from my thyroid?
I have a multinodular goiter and was recently told I now have calcifications on the larger nodules. The largest nodule is 40mm.
My last sonogram, the doctor said "it looks ugly, i do not like this at all"
I went through 2 rounds of biopsies and it came back benign. Well now im experiencing alot of bone aches. I thought in the beginning I had that restless leg syndrome, now it's in my arms and even my teeth ache. Would these new syptoms be from my thyroid? I have also been experiencing some tingling/numbness in my cheek.

Hello! I agree with Stella. Get those labs done! My daughter has no thyroid gland and has joint pain when her thyroid hormone levels are off. My mother- n- law has had severe bone,muscle and joint pain for 4 years. Finally convinced her to get COMPLETE labs done, and low and behold, she's been barely functioning on her LOW free t4 and low free T3 levels. She 's been suffering with hypothyroidism all along! I read that 80 % of people who have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia pain, truly have Hypothyroidism! You really need to take a closer look, especially since you have a multi nodular goiter and symptoms of hypothyroidism. God Bless!
How can a nuse predict this is not thyroid related.. Is she looking at proper tests? Many of us here complain of aches and it is thyroid related.
The pitutiary has nothing to do with calcium that I know of. The parathyroids are the controllers of calcium.
I feel you should go to your primary doctor - ask for proper thyroid tests - getting the Free T3 and Free T4s. I don't think this relates to calcium - but checking that could be good too I suppose.
Tell the nurse - she isn't paying your bills - so you would appreciate her just making the appointment and getting you in.

I called my endocrinologist to make an appt to let him know of my new symptoms and the nurse said that those symptoms would not be from the thyroid to go see my primary physician? Im soo confused. Im beginning to wonder if i should change endocrinologist all together..my sister is a nurse and she said it has everything to do with the thyroid and with the numbness in my cheeks and bone aches, it's something to do with my calcium and pituitary gland, is that true?
