I think it is a component of anxiety that comes from the thyroid condition. I have had other episodes of anxiety and sleepliness that seem to trigger the hypoglycemia.
i have also suffered from Hypoglecemia which comes about unexpectedly, interesting to know it may be related to hypothyroidism, i never put the two together, i have just switched over from synthetic thyroixn to natural Armour Thyroid, hopefully it may help. I dont get hypoglcemic that often, usually once every couple of months, but it can leave you exhausted and some time to recover.
How do you do with sleep? What happens when you need to get fasting blood work done?
Yes I get absolutely awful anxiety which becomes much worse when I feel hypoglyceamic which happens often. I end up physically shaking until I eat! My endo said there is nothing I can do about it because it is just my thyroid and menopausal hormones swinging all over the place and upsetting my blood sugar levels too.
