i am 21 years old male , have hashimoto but the strage thing that made me scared my white blood count was 3.68 while normal between 4000-11000 when i did this test i eat medication to treat bactria infection . after 3 months i did another test was normal . the result is 4000 .
That possibility was something I had never considered. After doing some reading I found some info similar to this.
"Will Thyriod Problems Cause Low White Blood Count?
Written by gavin fletcher
Hyperthyroidism is the thyroid problem that causes low white blood cell count. It occurs when the thyroid gland makes too much of the hormone thyroxine. Overproduction of thyroxine increases the body’s metabolism and results in the lower white blood cell count. There are a number of diseases, disorders and medications that cause hyperthyroidism."
Since you have Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, it would be very unusual for you to be hyperthyroid, except in the case of having nodules on your thyroid related to the Hashi's. Nodules can sometimes leak thyroid hormone faster than normal and result in short term cycles of hypo to hyper and back.
Another possibility is that with Hashi's, unless you are properly tested and treated, you will remain hypothyroid. Hypothyroid patients often find that they are too low in the range ofr Vitamin D, B12 and ferritin. So, I also found this info, written by a doctor. .
"vitamin D receptors are inside many cells, and because of these receptors vitamin D actually regulates gene expression. These receptors are inside many white blood cells, so if vitamin D is low, then WBC's will logically also be low."
Neither of these is likely, to be the cause, in my opinion. I think you identified the most likely cause, which was the antibacterial med you were taking. As I understand it that can cause low WBC. Further evidence is that after you stopped taking the med, your WBC count returned to a more normal level.
